How To Use Beeswax Finish
- Apply liberally with a brush or lint-free cloth
- Allow the product to sit on the wood or painted piece for 5-10 minutes
- Remove excess by buffing with a clean, lint-free cloth
This product has a 30-day cure time.
Beeswax Finish can be used over Fusion Mineral Paint too! Our paint line is matte and the darker colours in the range can sometimes attract dust and fingerprints. Adding a very thin layer of this beautiful finish with a cloth can help eliminate that and give you a beautiful lustre on your painted pieces.
Beautiful Natural Finish
This product is a great addition over top of Hemp Oil. It works wonderfully on kitchen counters and butcher blocks. These can be finished with our food-safe Hemp Oil. After the hemp oil add a layer of Beeswax Finish over the top for extra protection and durability. It works extremely well as a resist!
Try adding a little to the high points on carved areas where you want the original finish to show through. When applying paint to those areas, it won’t stick to those areas. A simple way to showcase a worn, distressed effect without the mess of sanding.
Another way to use Beeswax Finish is to refresh leather. This could be an armchair, a couch, a purse or even your favourite leather boots, giving them some extra protection for the season! moving forward re-applied as and when you feel it needs it.
